The Urban Forest Project is launching an online tree map—and you can be one of the first to contribute information to it. Join with other supporters of Grand Rapids’ urban forest for an opportunity to increase your tree identification skills and learn how to add trees to the new Grand Rapids tree map.
Urban Forest Project coordinator Lee Mueller will lead workshop participants through a step-by-step process for identifying tree species and obtaining measurements. Participants will then have an opportunity to practice adding trees to the online tree map.
