The Creston Neighborhood Association is hosting the 4th annual Art Battle for Community fundraiser,
an evening where one will experience up close the development of art from Creston neighborhood artists (and a few guests) while mingling with engaged and plugged in neighbors, elected officials and candidates seeking office.
It is the ultimate in community networking with some of the city’s heavy hitters in attendance.
The artists will be given a topic from which they will create their artwork.
They will have one hour to create an original piece based on this topic. Attendees get to view the artists create works of art from the birth of a concept to the completion of the piece.
Later at 8:15 PM, a lively auction will be held with the original pieces going to the highest bidder.
Please join us in this creative fund raising event to help grow one of Grand Rapids’ most vibrant neighborhood associations and support our local artists.
